Does anyone need to install an app?
No, neither you nor your customer. NFC has been built into phones for years; it is the same technology as contactless payment. The customer holds their phone near the plate, a notification appears, they tap it, and your review page opens in their browser.
What do I have to set up when the plate arrives?
Nothing. You give us your business listing when you order; we encode the chip with your review page address and test it before sealing the parcel. You take the plate out and put it down. There is no account to create with us, no dashboard to manage, no subscription.
Will every customer’s phone work?
Most, not all. iPhones from the XS onwards and nearly every Android sold since 2015 read an NFC chip with nothing to switch on. Older models and a few entry-level phones do not. We would rather say so: our product is an NFC chip, and there is no fallback.
Why don’t you sell a metal plate?
Because it would work badly. NFC relies on magnetic coupling, which metal disrupts: a metal plate only reads reliably with correctly sized ferrite shielding, and erratically without it. Our supports are acrylic, bamboo and PVC, all transparent to the field.
What if I move, or change my business listing?
Write to us and we will send a re-encoded item. The chip cannot be rewritten on your side: that is deliberate — a chip left open to writing can be overwritten by any phone placed on it.
What are the delivery times and costs?
We encode, test and ship within 2 working days from France. The time after that depends on the delivery method you choose. Shipping is quoted live from the real weight of your order and your address: there is no flat rate, and therefore no hidden margin on it.
